Curriculum Vitae

Nenad N. Cvetković was born in Niš, Serbia in 1970. He received the Dipl. Ing, M.Sc. and PhD. degrees from the Faculty of Electronic Engineering of University of Niš in 1995, 2002 and 2009, respectively. He is engaged as full professor and (from 2021.) head of the Department of Theoretical Electrical Engineering, Faculty of Electronic Engineering of Niš.

His research interests are numeri­cal methods for electromagnetic field calculation, especially in grounding systems theory, transmission lines analyse and biomagnetics. As an author or co-author, he has published about 160 papers in international journals or conference proceedings, three monograph dealing with grounding systems, one monograph chapter and two textbooks.

N. Cvetković reviews papers for various journals, He is also member of Publishing & Editorial Council of Journal of Energy Technology (JET) and Editorial Board of Safety Engineering journal.

N. Cvetković was part of the research team in the framework of projects which included people from universities from Germany, Bulgaria, Albania, Serbia, FRY Macedonia, Austria, Montenegro and Bosnia and Herzegovina. As a member of a local research teams, he was on study staying at the universities in Germany (Technical University Ilmenau), USA (Delaware State University), Croatia (University of Osijek and University of Rijeka) and Romania (Politehnica University Timisoara).  Nenad Cvetković was a visiting lecturer at the MCAST College in Malta and member of examining committee for PhD Thesis at the Mälardalen University-Sweden, University of Belgrade and University of Kragujevac-Serbia.

Dr Cvetković is a member of the Organizing Committee (from 2017 Chairman) and Steering Committee of the international PES Conference, the Steering Committee of SAEM – Symposium on Applied Electromagnetics (fifth and  seventh edition), as well as steering committees of International IEEE Conference and workshop on Electrical and Power Engineering , International Symposium on Electrical Apparatus and Technologies-SIELA and Small Simulation System Symposium-SSSS. Also, he was member of Organizing Committees of Phd Seminars organized in Montenegro, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Serbia.

He is a member of IEEE Electromagnetic Compatibility Society and IEEE Magnetics Society.
